How much carbon do cool farms capture?

Based on the initial results, for every kilo of green coffee we purchase from coffee farmers replicating agroforestry systems, an average of three kilos of carbon is being sequestered in their fields.

By the end of 2021, data will be collected from 250 participating farmers and up to US$100K in carbon premiums will be paid to carbon-smart farmers; farmers who have shown, through the successful use of the Cool Farm Tool, quantified levels of carbon capture in their fields.
